postcard poem, by melanie and erin
Blessed be, that we dreamed, lived, San Francisco.
With our hearts to the sea, pulsating, bleeding with energy.
Seeing not with our eyes, but with a divine spiral interwinding,
people, music, the dream, and unity.
peace, praise God, alas.

Seeing not with our eyes, but with a divine spiral interwinding,
people, music, the dream, and unity.
peace, praise God, alas.

Symmes Tavern....
...(In the tune of Micheal Jackson)....has got me workin' workin' day and night!!!! Wheeeewwwww. I'm talkin' relentless a.m. and p.m. double shifts....overworked coworkers and sometimes negative vibrations. Thankfully, Nora and I have been working together. Today, was barefoot and handstands at Harbin Park for our break, and hopefully tomorrow they won't make me work my second shift. This weekend, Nora and I are going in opposing directions....her in Manhatten, and me SanFran. Should be cool. Working hard makes vacation soooo much better!

the good news...
...is that HP recycyles their print cartridges (for free/by mail!--no postage necessary if mailed in the US). I found that out when changing mine today.
The bad news is that a lot of my prints have these horrific lines running throughout them. I guess thats what I get for not spending 1 million dollars on a printer. I am going to send them some of my liney prints and see how they respond.

Today
I wrote inmagine.com to ask them about entries for submission of stock photographs. My question was about how they accept pictures with a resolution of 6.0 (which my camera is capable of), however, the high res photos they sell are up to 15 megapixels. Also, I asked them for any guidance or link to those in the field of stock photography that can help. We'll see how they respond.
I shot my oil pastels with Remote Capture on my computer...fun! However, while trying to process RAW with Canon's Zoombrowser, I got confused, and went back to shooting jpeg's. I had a hard time finding the right exposure for the pictures, so I mainly shot on P (if you know what that means) and did some post-touching up, not much though, because I am somewhat impatient and short on time,
Good day maties!!

okay, so now.....
After blogging for a little while, I have decided that I need to type more words along with my pictures. That way it may highten the reason for the posting of the picture. -- For example, I only posted the picture of the airplanes because I wanted to update the blog, and well, went into my archive and picked it. The story behind that one is that I was on a boat in the Ohio River all beautiful day with Mom, Dad, and brother Jeff, shooting the WEBN fireworks event. We had access to the whole river, while other boats had to stay in thier designated areas!
OH and Jesus...well, he's part of our beautiful Nativity set from Xmas. I really like the colors. Usually he resides in his crib in the back, next to Virgin Mary, and Joseph, but that day, he came out and manifested his word to ME!
