I could use a few days off and hack away at it during night, the 12 hour days are starting to wear on me. Look forward to seeing the results of the photoshoot. Currently working on making a pinhole adaptation to my D70.. by working I mean thinking about it!.

hey paul.
i am sure i could find it if i looked hard enough, but, what is your day job???

and your pinhole adaptation....are you serious? i shot film the other day. it was a good feeling, especially the sound it made every time i took a shot. it really made me conserve my choice of shots too. the digital era really changes the ways of photography, don't you think?

I think digital does change photography, for better or worse is up for debate. I think it frees you up to experiment more without the cost of film development.

One of the big advantages is the learning curve shortens for developing a style and learning composition because of the instant return on the LCD of what you just snapped. A good exercise is owning a small flash card, say 16-25 mb. Go out and shoot on this card with the limited number of pictures and don't allow yourself to delete any. This is the same as the limitation of film.

The pinhole should be easy enough with either the CCD or 35mm film. Get your hands on one of the dust caps that covers the lens mounting area on the camera body. Drill a hole and devise a way to attach a small pinhole peice. Then use your bulb setting to execute the shutter! :) Voila !
